AIM Composites Ltd NDT facility is Nadcap approved for
ultrasonic C scan and A scan, and bond testing.
Available techniques include:-
• Automatic through transmission C scan
• Manual pulse echo A scan
• Bond testing using manual mechanical impedance and pitch catch techniques
• Capability exists for the inspection of large co-cured or bonded composite components,
laminates and honeycomb structures, and adhesively bonded metallic components.
