The new Korean Air A380 in-flight duty-free shop sells a pared down range of items from the airline’s glossy in-flight catalogue, focusing on best-sellers – from liquor, cosmetics and fragrances to travel retail exclusives. The store compliments the airline’s duty-free trolley service, and the displays can be stocked with up to 64 individual items. In the event of turbulence, products have magnets underneath to prevent them from toppling over on their displays.
The display units feature video screens with product and airline advertisements; a high gloss pearlescent paint finish and specialist lighting effects.
